RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

By entering into the Rental Agreement, you (the "Renter") agree to rent the equipment as specified in the invoice and or order confirmation email (the "Equipment") issued by The Box Valet, LLC operating as “BoxValet”, (the "Owner") to the Renter (the "Invoice") according to these terms and conditions:

BoxValet rents to Renter the equipment listed in the order confirmation (“Equipment”). Renter must inspect all Equipment at the time of pickup and notify BoxValet of any missing or damaged items before leaving the premises. Once the Renter leaves the property, all items are considered received in acceptable condition.

SELF-SERVICE PICKUP & RETURN

BoxValet operates under a self-service model. All Equipment must be picked up and returned by the Renter at:

The rental period begins once the Equipment leaves BoxValet’s facility and ends when it is returned in acceptable condition. Renter is fully responsible for the Equipment during this entire period. Renter must return all Equipment by the scheduled return date/time. Equipment is not considered returned until physically received and checked-in by a BoxValet concierge.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE

Renter understands bin pickup/return is self-service and may involve hazards including slips, trips, falls, lifting/strain injuries, pinch points, rolling equipment, uneven surfaces, and weather. Renter voluntarily assumes all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, renter releases and holds harmless BoxValet and its owners/employees/agents from claims arising from renter self-service pickup/return, including claims based on ordinary negligence, but not claims arising from gross negligence or willful misconduct. Renter is responsible for the conduct and safety of any guests/helpers and agrees to indemnify BoxValet for claims arising from their actions.

RENTAL TERM

The rental term begins on the scheduled pickup date and ends when Equipment is returned clean, complete, and free of damage beyond normal wear.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

At the time of booking, Renter is charged the full rental fee plus a refundable $100 Security Deposit. The deposit may be used to cover excessive cleaning fees, pet contamination fees, or bin damage/replacement fee. Security deposit cannot be used for any other fees outlined in this Agreement. Renter authorizes BoxValet to charge all other fees assessed outlined in this Agreement to the payment method on file.If no fees apply, the deposit will be refunded to the original payment method within 72 hours after BoxValet confirms a successful return.

RENTAL RATES, CHARGES, & EXTENSIONS

Full payment is due at the time of booking. No refunds or credits are issued for unused Equipment.

Returns

Returns are considered late after the return time shown on the Renter's confirmation email. The Renter will be automatically charged at a daily rental fee based on the rented bundle/package once the rental becomes 24 hours late.

Equipment not returned within 7 days of the scheduled return date is considered lost and full replacement value will be charged on day 8. If the Renter return all bins by day 9, the replacement fee will be waived and BoxValet will only bill any applicable late charges.

Cancellations

Cancel 24 hours or more before pickup date: no charge.

Cancel less than 24 hours before pickup: NO REFUND will be provided.

If Renter has already picked up Equipment and cancels, a $99 restocking fee will apply.

Extensions

Extensions up to three weeks may be requested at least 48 hours before the return date. Extensions are subject to availability and approval.

Extension rates:
- Studio Bundle – $18/week
- 1 Bedroom Bundle – $30/week
- 2 Bedroom Bundle – $42/week
- 3 Bedroom Bundle – $60/week
- 4 Bedroom Bundle – $90/week
- 5+ Bedroom Bundle – $120/week

RISK OF LOSS & REPLACEMENT VALUE

Renter assumes full responsibility for all Equipment from pickup until return, including loss, theft, misplacement, or damage beyond normal wear while in the Renter's possession. Replacement fees apply at posted values. Renter will be charged the full replacement value, plus any applicable rental charges until the matter is resolved.

Moving Box – $20 each

BoxValet Dolly – $100 each

DAMAGE PROTECTION

The optional BoxValet Rental Protection Package reduces Renter’s responsibility for damage to 100% of the repair/replacement cost (excludes loss or theft).

Cost: $35 per rental period

Does not cover intentional damage, negligence, excessive filth, nor pet policy violations.

CLEANING, RESIDUE, & ODOR POLICY

Standard cleaning is included. Excessive cleaning incurs a $3 per-bin fee for spills, stains, residue, glitter, odors, adhesives, smoke odor, or moisture damage.

PET POLICY

BoxValet bins are intended primarily for the storage and transport of household goods and human belongings. While certain clean pet accessories may be placed in the bins, they should only be used for pet items on a very limited basis. Although BoxValet thoroughly sanitizes and cleans each piece of Equipment between rentals, we intentionally restrict pet-related use to help reduce pet dander and protect future renters who may have allergies or sensitivities.

Prohibited uses include transporting live animals, storing used pet bedding or litter, waste-contaminated items, items with heavy pet hair or odor, or items likely to damage bins.

Return Condition Requirements

All bins must be returned in a condition suitable for the next customer, including:

Free of pet hair, dander, or waste
Free of pet stains or residue
Free of strong or lingering pet odors
Free scratch or chew marks

Pet Contamination Cleaning Fee

If any bin is returned with excessive pet hair, odor, residue, or contamination, a mandatory Pet Contamination Deep-Cleaning Fee of $15 per affected bin will be charged to the payment method on file.

Replacement Fee for Pet-Related Damage

If a bin cannot be restored to a sanitary condition due to pet-related damage or contamination, a replacement fee of $35 per bin will be applied.

PROHIBITED USES

Bins may not be used for hazardous materials or outdoor exposure likely to cause damage.

Renter may not use BoxValet bins for hazardous or unsafe substances including flammable liquids, toxic chemicals, corrosive materials, or any item that may cause spills, damage, or safety risks. Standard sealed household cleaning products are permitted.

INDEMNIFICATION & LIABILITY

Renter agrees to use Equipment safely and only for its intended purpose. BoxValet is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss arising from Renter’s use or transport of the Equipment. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold BoxValet harmless from any related claims.

COMMUNICATION CONSENT

By booking, Renter agrees to receive transactional emails and text messages. Renter may opt out of non-essential marketing messages at any time.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION, FRAUD PREVENTION & DATA STORAGE

BoxValet uses a third-party identity verification provider. Renter may be required to upload an ID, complete biometric matching, or pass fraud checks.

BoxValet securely stores an encrypted copy of the Renter’s ID for fraud prevention, chargeback handling, equipment recovery, and legal compliance. ID information is not sold or shared except as required by law. Renter may request deletion after obligations are fulfilled.

Failure to verify identity may result in rental cancellation.

DEFAULT, TERMINATION & SURVIVAL

BoxValet may terminate rentals for nonpayment, violation of terms, or suspected fraud or misuse. Invalidity of one part does not affect the remainder.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Renter and BoxValet and may only be modified in writing by BoxValet.
